
I take a ton of photos as a hobby and I store everything on an external hard drive and then back up to AD, then link the folders to a album in AP so I can look up a photo whenever I need it.

With that experience, I started wondering if things would ever go missing in my Drive or Photos. Within a couple of weeks, they were able to restore my original playlist. In this case, it didn't, and after a few weeks I contacted customer service to troubleshoot. It had happened before, but always reappeared within a few days. My AM issue was that one of my playlists lost 75% of my music overnight.


In the last few months, I had an issue with Amazon Music that made me start to question if my data is actually safely backed up using. I've been using Amazon Drive and Photos for years, as a part of my membership in Amazon Prime.
